Senior Project Engineer (Singapore)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create plans for solar PV system development, monitoring and evaluation work
  • Conduct Engineering Site Audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of residential, commercial, industrial solar PV system and solar PV power plant
  • Design/ coordinate design of PV system, including system components for residential, commercial building and solar PV power plant
  • Review specifications and scope of project to determine technological or environmental implications
  • Provide technical direction or advisory service to client during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring
  • Provide performance modelling and energy yield assessment
  • Create checklist for review or inspection of completed solar installation project.
  • Estimate the cost for consultancy service
  • Acquire understanding of ASEAN regional countries code of practice (including electrical and environmental) for solar PV system


  • Bachelor degree or master degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering/ Physics or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solar PV plant projects
  • Knowledge of PV system configuration is a must
  • Knowledge and experience in PV power plant development from design, construction and operation & maintenance
  • Knowledge and experience in standards of PV system inspection, testing and verification
  • Knowledge and experience in conducting simulation in solar PV yield prediction
  • Candidate must possess good communication skills, ability to deal with people at all levels and a proven track record in solar PV system level project
